Here she is: the iPhone 3G, captured on video. We’ve gone through a number of the new features on the device and in the 2.0 software release, but apologies in advance if you’re looking for side by side speed tests (there are some coverage issues where we’re at). Video of the unboxing, new feature walkthrough, and GPS use (while on a train) after the break.
Still got questions about the 3G? Get ‘em answered right here.

We unboxed this little N-series wonder yesterday, but if you’ve still got a hankering for more N78, there’s a video after the break that should uncover all its magical wares. Or maybe it just shows us messing around with the phone for a few minutes with no real purpose or direction. One of those.

After giving the new IdeaPad U110 its 15 minutes of fame in front of the camera, we got down to business. The 11.1-inch ultraportable is built like a tank — a really, really lightweight tank. The uniquely-designed lid and (overly) glossy motif is a welcome change for Lenovo, but after a good bit of use, it’s easy to see this one won’t appeal to the masses. Click on for the full rundown of impressions and notes (and a video, too).

The PS3 Laptop: you saw the stills (if not, look down), now see the video. It’s posted after the break — enjoy.
P.S. -Don’t forget, next week we’ll be putting this one of a kind console up for charity auction. Save your pennies, a Friday night beer only lasts a few minutes, but a Ben Heck PS3 Laptop will last forevah.

Finally, after a scourge of sissy, beer serving robots we meet our maker. Vstone’s Black Ox stands more than 7,000 feet tall and brings a Tokyo-sized lust for human meat sacks. Gigantor, you never had a chance. Ok, ok, he’s only a foot and a half from the floor but those 20 movable axis points and fierce fighting skills should deliver hours of entertaining torment for your pet, kids, or pet kids. Check the video after the break while we wait for an official price and release date.

The Nabaztag WiFi rabbit learned a new trick at CeBIT: reading RFID tagged children’s books. Violet already loosed a book in France at Christmas and now plans to launch its first English language book in the UK within the month. Right, that’s one less parental responsibility for you. It’s also cooking up “ztamps” which are RFID stickers you can attach to anything you like. When each unique sticker is held to Nabaztag’s nose, it responds with a predefined action like playing music, sending an email, reading off the latest headlines, etc. Really, it’s not as crazy as it sounds. Check the video after the break — now that they’ve fixed last year’s service issues caused to overwhelming demand, parents might want to give this critter a second look.

We don’t typically get worked up for over-the-counter, computer cases. The we stumbled upon the Bulldozer R4. If we were a 92-mm case fan we’d totally tap this. If you’re wondering what those little pneumatic arms are for then check the video after the break — a place where surreal overkill and CeBIT come to meet.

It’s just three screens on a very early prototype, but for those of you who doubt Meizu’s ability to bring the M8 to market, we give you — the video. Sure, Meizu’s just rendering three image files as opposed to any real processing. Nevertheless, there’s plenty of catchy dialog to hold you over until these pups go live in China sometime around August. Who knew English as a second language could be so fun.

Regardless of the cause, we certainly like the trend of these enhanced touch-screen UIs dominating the high-end cellphone market. Now meet ASUS’ GUI slickness destined for their newest touchscreen devices including the ZX1. Starting with a Windows Mobile 6.1 core, ASUS slathers on a new customizable Multi-Home 3D interface meant to simplify access to your today screen, life and business applications. Think HTC’s TouchFlo only sexier. ASUS even threw in some “album cover flow” to the media app and the ability to more easily manipulate all your digital media with enhanced figure gestures. You can even drop everything into a visual carousel if that’s your preference. See for yourself in the video after the break.

You might remember how excited we were to send Veronica Belmont over to eCoupled’s booth at CES for a demo of the company’s wireless Foreman grill, only to be bitterly disappointed when the reps claimed to have “power problems” and didn’t really demo anything at all. Well, as it turns out, there was an eCoupled engineer on our flight home from Vegas, and after showing us his wirelessly-charging laptop, he promised us a video of the Foreman in action. And… it’s a video of a dude cooking a burger. Sure, the grill is wireless — but come on, where’s the showmanship? Let’s at least put a hula hoop around it, people. That said, we can see a lot of potential for the tech if it gets ubiquitous — let’s just hope the sales team has a little more of the ol’ vaudeville spirit in ‘em, eh? Check the video after the break.

We got a quick runthrough of the Apple TV’s new menus, and we liked what we saw. Everything seems crisp and intuitive, and Transformers looks oh-so Transformer-ey. Unfortunately we couldn’t see an actual rental transaction take place, but we’ll take Apple’s word for it on this one. Video is after the break.

Sure, it’s been out for a little while, but considering how many Engadget editors play guitar (and the fact that Pete just started RCRD LBL), we figured we had to stop by Gibson’s booth-bus complex and give the Robot Guitar a shot. The self-tuning axe actually weighs a little less than a regular Les Paul, even though it has gigantic motorized tuners and all that extra circuitry. To activate the system, you pull out a special tone knob and select one of the eight or so presets, and then simply strum until the lights flash blue three times. It’s really fast, and undeniably cool, but for nine hundred extra bucks, we’ll stick with our trusty TU-12. Video’s after the break — and make sure to check out the gallery for a shot of the weirdest thing we’ve seen in a while: eight dudes all plugged into Line6 Pods and headphones, rocking out quietly in a circle.

We had high hopes that the Origami Experience 2.0 would be more than just two apps and a new password system, but we were pretty disappointed when we spent some time playing with it at Microsoft’s booth. Picture Password, Origami Central and Origami Now were running on a variety of UMPCs, including the Samsung Q1 Ultra Premium, Fujitsu U810, Kohjinsha SH-series, and our demo unit, an HTC Shift, and while everything pretty much worked as advertised, it certainly wasn’t an “experience” — and probably the least fun we’ve had with OE in a long time. Check out a bunch of screenshots in the gallery, and make sure to catch the video of a Vista dev manager telling us that Origami Now and Central aren’t “launchers” and that HD DVD is doing “just fine” after the break.

We were totally stoked to see eCoupled’s “Intelligent Wireless Power” system in action — the rep even said they’d try and cook us a burger on their wireless Foreman grill — but when Veronica got there, “power fluctuations” kept them from demoing anything more than a Zune that lit up when placed directly on a charging pad. VB was way too nice to call them out on video, but come on — you don’t run around promising wireless burgers and then barely compete with a WildCharger. Check out Veronica’s barely-concealed boredom after the break.

It’s pretty cheery in the Blu-ray camp this year, for several reasons — and one of them is the launch of BD Live. We’re not exactly certain why they picked downloadable ringtones from Godzilla as the demo, but Veronica was brave enough to sit through the lowest point of Matthew Broderick’s career to snag us this demo. Check it all out after the break!
Update: Sorry, YouTube was being a little balky — video’s up again!

Would you hire a 52 year old college dropout who’s only had one job his entire life? Ok, but what if the college he dropped out of was Harvard, and the one job he’s is as founder and chairman of the world’s most powerful software company? No, not even then? If you haven’t already seen it, watch as our man Bill flounders in the hunt for a new gig, as shown at his final CES keynote a couple of days ago. Good luck out there, man — and don’t forget, if you’re looking for a few extra bucks we’d love your help covering Macworld next week.
