When the rumors started that The CW was considering doing an updated version of Melrose Place, I thought it was too soon after bringing back 90210. Then came word that they cast Mischa Barton to the pilot, and I could deal with one annoying paparazzi darling on the show. That was until Michael Ausiello reported that they also cast new mom Ashlee Simpson also added to the cast.
The onetime 7th Heaven star will play small-town girl Violet, a character whose disarming naiveté masks the calculating, shrewd sex kitten within.
With the casting of both Mischa and Ashlee, I wonder if The CW really wants to pick up the show? Which I wouldn't mind if that meant Privileged would get a second season because I would rather see that on the tube in the fall.
I wonder who else they are considering? Lindsay Lohan? Kim Kardashian? Brody Jenner? Jesse Metcalfe?

Ashlee Simpson took the net to blog about the media and blog coverage about her sister's weight and I have to agree with her. You look at Lindsay Lohan who is painfully thin and hard to look at and when Jessica Simpson puts on a few (yes more than few) pounds we all say she is fat and make a huge deal about it. So far she has said she comfortable with her new size, but others stars have become anorexic because of stuff like that. I know I am just as much at fault, but I would rather see a celeb with some meat on their bones than one that is just skin and bones. So tomorrow when I bash someone for putting on weight, you can give me crap about it!!!

It might feel like winter in Los Angeles, but the chances of us getting snow east of the 405 is 0 to none. So Pete Wentz brought some snow to him!!! JoJo Wright from Ryan Seacrest’s show brought his adorable daughter Sophie with him to see the snow at The Wentzes!!! Seriously how much fun does it look like they all had.

Pete Wentz went another radio show and said another TMI, and what Us Weekly said he said will make you want to hurl.
Pete Wentz revealed that wife Ashlee Simpson's breast milk tastes "soury" and "weird" on SIRIUS' The Morning Mash Up! on Monday.
The Fall Out Boy bassist, 29, may not be a fan, but Ashlee and Pete's newborn Bronx Mowgli is: "The baby loves it, it’s the only thing he’s had a chance to have."
TMI TMI TMI TMI TMI TMI. I hope Ashlee Simpson kicks him to the baby;s room and makes him do Bronx's middle of the night feedings.

While expecting their first child, pop star Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and “Fall Out Boy” bassist/lyricist Pete Wentz, were concerned how their aggressive, but beloved, English bulldog Hemingway would react when the baby arrived. They hoped a canine companion might help, but when 5-month-old English bulldog Rigby joined the budding family, Hemingway’s dog aggression escalated. As Ashlee’s due date rapidly approaches, Cesar is called in to help the couple create a balanced environment that will be safe for their newborn. Will Cesar have these rock stars and their dogs singing a new tune? Also in this episode, Cesar rehabilitates Cricket, a fun-loving retriever with a bad habit of attacking anything between him and his food.
Is it just me or does Pete Wentz really look like his dogs? I can’t wait to the Dog Whisperer work on Ashlee Simpson and Pete’s Wentz’s dogs on The National Geographic Channel next Sunday at 8p. BTW this episode will lead into a week of Dog Whisperers on the network at that time!

Pete Wentz says that the stories that no one wanted to buy the first pictures of Bronx Mowgli are untrue. I would believe him more if Bronx’s grandfather wasn’t Joe Simpson who has been known to sell pictures of his daughters Ashlee and Jessica Simpson.

It has been a few weeks since Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have their Bronx Mowgli, but yet we have not see him and you know Joe Simpson can't have that. Page Six has the reason why we haven't seen him…
"Pete and Ashlee have approached every single celebrity magazine with offers to sell their first photos, but nobody wants them. Covers of them tend not to sell well." A rep for Simpson denied it.
Well if makes thyem and Grandpa Joe feel better, in a few months they will pay for the pix and bury you in the magazine like People did for Ricky Martin this week.
