Former America’s Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden has revealed her account of the airport brawl between her family and Hairspray star Nikki Blonksy’s (above). While filming an upcoming episode of The Tyra Banks Show, Bianca described the incident that allegedly started when Nikki became “very rude” to her aunt. People reports:
An argument erupted between Blonsky’s and Golden’s families, then Blonsky’s father Carl “punched my mom.”
“He knocked her out,” says Golden. “He hit my mom with such force she stumbled back and when she stumbled back the whole family got up and attacked my mom.”
Then, when her mother was on the ground, Nikki “takes her foot and kicks my mom in her vagina, and that’s when my mom fell out completely,” says Golden.
“When Nikki kicked my mom I went and grabbed her arm and she grabbed my earring,” says she. “Her mom sat on her to get her off of me cause her mom saw what was happening and that was that.“
Golden says her mother was airlifted to the hospital with internal bleeding, a broken nose and a fractured skull.
Nikki Blonsky’s mom obviously acted as the ass of reason by employing her family’s natural talent for slapstick to defuse the situation. Because how do you not laugh at one fat person sitting on top of another? Unless, of course, you were just kicked in the hoo-ha and rendered unconscious. Then, maybe, I could see if you didn’t fully appreciate the comedy of the situation. I guess.

You’ve got to love it, don’t you? The prolonged hatefest between Intel and NVIDIA is continuing on today, with Andy Keane, general manager of the company’s GPU computing group, delivering the latest blow. While speaking to reporters at the outfit’s headquarters in Sunnyvale, California, he was quoted as saying that there is still “an incredible amount about Larrabee that’s undefined.” Furthermore, John Mottram chimed in by suggesting that “as [blogger and CPU architect] Peter Glaskowsky said, the ‘large’ Larrabee in 2010 will have roughly the same performance as a 2006 GPU from NVIDIA or ATI.” We’re beginning to wonder if these guys aren’t just passing disses while sharing a cold one afterwards just to get attention, but being that it’s more fun to envision suits from rival firms intensely angry with one another, we’ll just keep believing this actually isn’t a joke.

Nikki Blonsky (Hairspray) and her father were arrested after an airport brawl with the family of America’s Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden. The fight was over saved seats in the airport’s lounge. Oh, good. For a minute there, I thought it might be about something stupid. Us Magazine reports:
Bianca, 19, her brother George, 17, and their mother Elaine Clinton-Golden, were waiting for a flight to New York when they tried to take a seat in the departure lounge but found luggage on the chairs. When they removed the luggage, which belonged to the Blonsky’s, a brawl broke out.
Elaine was alleged to have been repeatedly kicked and punched all over her body. She was airlifted for treatment in Miami, Florida.
Nikki, 19, was charged with actual bodily harm; her father, Carl, was charged with grievous bodily harm, a source at the Turks and Caicos Weekly News tells Us.
In Nikki’s defense, the wing buffet in the lounge ran out of ranch dressing which put her under extreme emotional duress. To put things in perspective, at her 13th birthday party Pizza Hut ran out of cheesy bread. There were no survivors.

Nicole Richie hit up Vegas this weekend with Paris Hilton to watch their boyfriends The Elmer Fudd Brothers perform at the Hard Rock. Apparently, things got heated and Nicole found herself scrapping with an unidentified woman outside, according to Vegas Confidential:
Richie, who recently had a baby with Joel Madden, Benji’s brother, was involved in a catfight in the valet area at the Hard Rock Hotel. Security whisked Richie away, according to spies.
Richie, whose daughter is 5 months old, recently vowed she would not be getting in trouble anymore “because I want my child to look up to me. … I want to show her the right path.
Nicole Richie in a catfight? That’s like watching Gollum get in a slap-fest with a cocktail waitress. But, in Nicole’s case, minus the erotic undertones and any chance I’ll ever have an erection again.

At this point, neither the HTC Touch Diamond nor the Samsung i900 Omnia need any introduction, but we’re happy to announce that these two have stepped into the squared circle and faced off in an epic nine-page battle. Reviewers manhandled both phones for an extended time and broke down the UI, hardware, features and overall usability, so if that sounds like something you’d be interested in, cover your face and head on down to the read link. We’re warning you though, it gets ugly.

Alright, first off, I’m not a fan of country music. I’d rather swallow live bees than listen to it, but I am willing to give badass credit where badass credit is due. In this case, Tim McGraw held a concert last night in Washington and saw some large bastard hit a woman. He called for security then took matters into his own Eastwood-esque hands. Tim’s rep issued the following statement:
“While Tim was performing at the White River Amphitheater in Auburn, Washington last night, he watched a man rush to the front of the stage. This overly aggressive fan attacked a female fan and Tim witnessed this incident. Tim called for security, but when they could not respond quick enough Tim and several crew members removed the fan from the audience where he was then turned over to the local authorities.”
The video is awesome. Tim McGraw basically grabs a hold of this guy, who looks fucking sizable and seems to have no problem wanting to cold cock Tim. Security shows up and Tim hoists the dude up by his belt buckle and literally shoves him across stage. Tim McGraw, you win this week’s THE SUPERFICIAL’S TESTICULOS DE AWESOME AWARD. I was going to give it to myself for drinking ten beers in my underwear last night, but there’s always next week. The trophy’s in the mail, sir. (Note: I should mention it’s also invisible, hence the awesome.)

Not like we haven’t seen hordes of humanoids fight to the death (or malfunction, whichever comes first) before, but this agile duo is really something. Seriously, just watch those feet scamper about and try not to smile. We’ll bet you lose it when the big fella drops that massive left hook (but fails to connect). Video after the cut.

Would you look at that: a thick slab of iPhone meat in a Sony Ericsson and HTC QWERTY sandwich. The iPhone’s big screen is nice and all but the device is starting to look a bit portly given that the Xperia X1 and Raphael both sport physical keyboards and HSDPA/HSUPA data. Tasty, regardless.

Tasty, regardless.
Update: Er, that’s not the HTC Raphael, it’s their Touch Diamond.

Don’t etch this one in stone just yet, but for those keeping a close eye on studios and which camp(s) they support, here’s the latest. Reportedly, a so-called Blu-ray Festival has been raging in Hollywood, and aside from BD backers showing up in support of upcoming / existing films, there have also been a few interesting remarks uttered along the way. Most notably, Dan Silverberg, VP of high-definition media for Warner Home Video, stated that “one thing that may be changing is [Warner’s] strategy,” and he continued by proclaiming that hardware prices had reached a point where consumers “no longer wanted to decide” which format reigned supreme. The speech actually got interesting when he mentioned that the “notion of staying in two formats for the duration is something the company was re-evaluating.” Beyond that, egos were simply inflated even more as recent BD vs. HD DVD sales figures were trumpeted about, but we think the aforementioned commentary is far more interesting that hearing about numbers we’re already familiar with.

Kid Rock was arrested yesterday after getting into a scuffle at an Atlanta Waffle House. DeKalb County police arrested Kid Rock and five of his entourage after an argument with a customer turned physical. Reuters reports:
“Rock along with five members of his entourage were charged with one count of battery, which is a misdemeanor. The victim … was treated and released at a local hospital for his injuries,” Mekka Parish, spokeswoman for DeKalb police, said.
The Waffle House pressed charges against the man involved in the fight with Rock’s entourage after a window was punched out during the fight, which started inside but ended in the parking lot, Parish said.
First off, real men don’t get into fights at the Waffle House. That’s what IHOP is for. Second, if this post was about a giant, walking waffle that demolished a diner Kid Rock was in, would you maybe consider reading it then? Didn’t think so. Moving on…

P. Diddy got into a scuffle over the weekend at club Kiosk in SoHo. Diddy allegedly had an argument with an acquaintance Steven Acevedo and decided to settle things with a gentlemanly punch in the mouth. The victim called the police later that day and Diddy is expected to turn himself in for questioning today. NY Daily News reports:
Combs and the alleged victim, Steven Acevedo, 31, at first just traded insults inside the Spring St. hot spot. But after the dust appeared to settle, Combs and some of his bodyguards came back, Acevedo told cops. Combs then knocked Acevedo to the ground with a punch to the mouth. When Acevedo got up, Combs allegedly punched him a second time, sources said.
As Combs’ fists flew, a member of his entourage allegedly boasted to Acevedo, “We won’t shoot you. You can even hold our guns,” a police source said.
That’s just good manners right there. Sorry, old chap, no bullets today. Just a hearty punch or two. Bleeding internally are we now? Very well then. Might I trouble you for our shooters back? That’s a good sport. Lovely day, isn’t it? Cheerio!
