24: Redemption is on Fox

November 23rd, 2008 by

After sacrificing everything for his country, Jack Bauer is wanted by the U.S. government and now stands to lose the only thing he has left: his freedom. Working as a missionary in Africa, Bauer is called upon to stop a ruthless warlord from drafting innocent children into his murderous militia. First, Bauer must confront his own torturous past and face an impossible decision that will change his life forever. A decision that will set the stage and raise the stakes for Season Seven, which debuts in January 2009.

After waiting 18 months 24 fans will scream for joy when they watch 24: Redemption tonight on Fox. Fans of 24 will not be disappointed, and you don’t have to be a fan to like this action-filled two hour movie.
Jack Bauer is Africa running from a subpoena and helping a friend protect several boys from being turned into killers. Back in the US a female is about to be sworn in as President as a coo is happening back in Africa. Jack’s camp is being taken over and he needs to hide the boys and get them to safety. How far will he go to save the boys and what will he have to give up for them?
I am not a fan of 24, but I love 24: Redemption and I can’t wait for 24 to return in January!!!

Fox cancels King of the Hill

October 30th, 2008 by

Fox has decided not renew King of the Hill after it airs its 13th episode of its 13 season according to The Hollywood Reporter. When it comes to animation Sundays on Fox, I have to admit that I barely watched King of the Hill, but even after saying that I am sad to see it go.
No word yet when Fox will air the series finale, but I am sure they will make a big deal about once they know the date.

Politicians & Journalists afraid they are not Smarter Than a 5th Grader?

October 28th, 2008 by

(photo © Fox)

The Executive Producers of Fox's Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? asked Barack Obama, John McCain, Bill & Hillary Clinton, NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg, and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to see if they wanted to find out if they are smarter than a 5th grader. They all wimped out, I mean declined. So then Zoo Productions (the EPs) asked Katie Couric, Diane Sawyer, Brian Williams, and Barbara Walters if they are daring enough to challenge a bunch of 5th graders and they too failed to take on the challenge. Seriously why are they all afraid to find out if they are Smarter Than A 5th Grader?

Personally I wished they would've asked George W Bush, just so they could ask him "Who is the President of The United States?" and see if he knew the answer!!!

Well they might not be brave enought ot face the 5th graders, but the Boston Celtic Cheerleaders are on this Friday's episode of the show at 8p!

October 6th, 2008 by

For the 19th year in a row The Simpsons will have another special Halloween Episode of Treehouse of Horror!!! I am so glad that they are doing another one because they are always my favorite Simpsons episodes of the season. Treehouse of Horror XIX will air on November 2nd.
BTW because I am more of a Seth MacFarlane girl, I am happy to say that Family Guy did better in the ratings by getting around million more viewers than The Simpsons according to James Hibberd!!!

Fox believes in Fringe!!!

October 2nd, 2008 by

Fox has picked up their new hit show Fringe for a full season! I am really loving this show, so I am glad had enough faith to pick it so early!!! Granted it was a no-brainer that this show was going to be a hit because it was created by J.J. Abrams and it was paired with House. What more do you need?

Kitchen Nightmares ends with a Kitchen Dream Wedding

September 29th, 2008 by

(starts at 6:00 in)
The ending of Thursday’s Kitchen Nightmares is a huge reason why I love this show! What other show could guy like Gordon Ramsey walk in to a restaurant, give them crap for how poorly the place is run, fix it and then arrange for the owner to finally marry his long term girlfriend. It was such an amazing ending, I cry everytime I watch it. But then again I cry at weddings.
So tune into Kitchen Nightmares on Thursdays at 9p on Fox, I promise just like a great meal you will love this show!

The Fox funnies are back!

September 28th, 2008 by

The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Family Guy and American Dad are all back on Fox and funnier than ever!

The Simpsons is back tonight and both Homer and Marge got new jobs. Marge's job is XXX, while Homer's is with Flanders. Can you imagine these two working together? Let me tell the duo are hysterical togtethers as partners in crime!!!

King of the Hill is back with one of the guys suffering from diabetes and the Hill family going on a diet so the same won't happen to them.

Family Guy starts off with a politically incorrect costume party and after Brian has a bad set up at the party he meets the woman of his dreams. But after some bad advice from Stewie he loses the girl to Cleveland and it all goes down hill from there on!

Finally American Dad is the funniest of the night as Steve gets his first pubic hair and puberty will never be the same now that is has been Seth McFarlaneized!

I am so glad that the Sunday Funnies are back on Fox because Mondays won't seem as bad any more!!!

The first cancelled show of the fall season is…

September 25th, 2008 by

Once again has the first cancelled show of the season and this year it is Do Not Disturb. Michael Ausiello is reporting that the show will be replaced by a second airing of ‘Til Death. Poor Jerry O’Connell has yet another failed sitcom on his resume.
BTW is anyone surprised that Do Not Disturb was cancelled?

Hole in the Wall and the Vice Presidential Debate on Fox?

September 25th, 2008 by

(photo from Saaphyri’s MySpace)
Fox has chosen their new awesome game show Hole in the Wall to lead into the first Vice Presidential Debate on October 2nd. But not just any episode they chose the one with the Flavor of Love hos vs the Rock of Love sluts according to TV Week. Seriously that has to be the strangest night of television programming ever. I know Fox is considered “The Conservative” network, but did they have to go to such extremes to make Sarah Palin look good?
So tune into Hole in the Wall and the Vice Presidential Debate next Thursday to see if their programming choice actually works.

Hole in the Wall sinks to a new low

September 22nd, 2008 by

Hole in the Wall has just begun on Fox and already it is going to desperate measures to get names to take art on the show. Coming up they will have the Flavor of Love hos vs the Rock of Love sluts. Seriously aren't there enough American Idol and So You Think You Can Dancers who are availablke to do the show?

BTW what is up with Pumkin doing anything that is related to Flavor of Love, her 15 minutes were up a long long long time ago time for her to move on.

Digital Entertainment Content Ecosystem, the DRM of the future?

September 13th, 2008 by

Digital Entertainment Content Ecosystem

We’ve heard this about this dream so many times before, DRM that will make digital media as easy to use and as consumer friendly as a physcial medium like DVD. We’d normally be quick to disregard this as yet another DRM “ecosystem” for digital media, but the list of players backing the Digital Entertainment Content Ecosystem (or DECE) has us taking notice. As impossible as this seems, if anyone could make it happen, it’d be a group composed of: Best Buy, Cisco, Comcast, Fox, HP, Intel, Lions Gate, Microsoft, NBC Universal, Paramount Pictures, Philips, Sony, Toshiba, VeriSign, and Warner Bros — yes, we also find it hard to believe that all these companies are working together. We’ll have to wait until January at CES for the ins and outs of how this would actually work, but we do know it’ll be based around a “rights locker” which will amount to a website where digital purchases will be stored — we assume this is where VeriSign fits in. Oh, and Apple is noticeably absent from the list

Fox orders two more years of Gordon Ramsey

September 12th, 2008 by

Fox loves Gordon Ramsey so much so they have picked up Kitchen Nightmares and Hell’s Kitchen for two more years and he is also get a third show on the net according to Variety!!!

“They let me be me — that’s the key to our success,” Ramsay told Daily Variety. “And we properly understand each other: Fox wants to run a show, and I want to run a restaurant. I want to search for chefs. I try hard to keep it real, and I’m someone who takes all this very, very seriously.”
According to Ramsay, the new series will be based on a show he’s now doing for Britain’s Channel 4. “Man Camp,” which Ramsay will host, is a kind of boot camp for men whose “ladies are slightly concerned about how feminine they’re becoming,” Ramsay explained. The series will put a group of men through physical and intellectual challenges, and by the time they’re done, “They’ll know how to cook for a living” too, Ramsay said.

I am so happy Fox is keeping him around for two more years because I love Kitchen Nightmares. Plus I can’t wait to see what that they do with Man Camp, I have a friend who would be great contestant for the show!

’til Death still married to Fox tonight!

September 10th, 2008 by

‘ti Death is back tonight at 9p with the best episode of the show’s run. ‘ti Death went through some changes since last season and got rid of two of its characters, the newlywed neighbors. In their place they added JB Smooth as Eddie’s (Brad Garrett) little brother from the Big Brother program, you have to watch to understand the strangeness of it. His timing with Garrett’s is perfect and I can’t wait to see what else these two do as the season goes on. And don’t forget that Eddie is married to Joy (Joely Fisher) and their marriage is one I don’t aspire to have but it is realistic.
In tonight’s episode Joy is devastated that “her girls” can’t get her out of speeding ticket and she is wondering what is wrong with her. All the hijinx that go on with her trying to deal with the fact “her girls” might be losing it is so freaking funny.
So tune in to ’til Death on Fox tonight at 9p for you show that gets you through hump day even if the leads haven’t done it in a while!!!
Oh and stick around for Do Not Disturb on Fox at 9:30 for a good old sitcom feeling show.

The clock stops on 24 again

September 6th, 2008 by

Last season Fox's 24 was halted twice because of production and then finally the clock stopped was by the WGA stricke. Fast forward today and once again the clock has stopped from production according to EW

After the completion of episode 18 on Sept. 15, production on Fox's hit drama 24 will shut down until October 9th while the writers reshape the upcoming season's creative direction — specifically the transition leading to the end game. "We had a couple of scripts that we weren't happy with," 24 exec producer Howard Gordon tells EW.com. "We just couldn't get this direction to work, and we found another one that we liked better, so we wound up retooling it.

Gordon went on to say the show is not in trouble, but looks like this will be the last season of the show when not even a year off can solve the problems that need to be fixed.

Kitchen Nightmares is back tonight!!!

September 4th, 2008 by

One of my favorite shows last year was Kitchen Nightmares and tonight it is back on Fox at 8p with a 2-hour special what happened to the Kitchen Nightmares he turned into Kitchen Dreams. What was nice about tonight’s show is that you see Gordon Ramsey really did make a difference with this show. I seriously could not believe how many of the restaurants really turned around because of his actions. There was one place he went to last year that was by me and the owner wouldn’t listen to him and now that place is closed down. So it just goes to show he really knows what he is talking about.
So I can’t wait to see how he saves this season’s restaurants and what they need fixed.
So tune in to Kitchen Nightmares tonight and every Thursday on Fox at 8p!
