Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is kicking it back old school according to JoBlo. What do I mean when I say that? So you know how I have been praising the New Beverly Cinema where The Greats of Roth festival has been playing, because all the movies are shown in 35mm and there is a certain feel that you get with 35mm over digital. Well looks like I am not the only one because it is rumored that Indiana Jones 4 will only be distributed to theaters in the 35mm format which means a lot of new theaters will not be able to show the movie.
I really hope this rumor is true because after seeing Carrie and Zapped! in 35mm at The Greats of Roths it reminded me how good old school movie theaters and 35 mm films are. And Indy needs to be shown at its best!!!

MovieWeb is claiming that this is the Crystal Skull from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Part of me is like it looks kinds of cool, while the other part is like that is one ugly skull. Either way after seeing that picture I am even more excited to see the movie!

Can you believe it has been 27 years since Harrison Ford first put on the Indiana Jones costume? He might be a senior citizen but you would never know looking at him that picture!

No bull about it, that is the stumpiest thing I saw a celebrity wear for a photoshoot. And by the looks of that picture Shai LeBrouf is not hung like bull.

What is so amazing about that video is how much Stephen Spielberg has aged since the original Indiana Jones. Also did you see how much he aged between the second and third ones. Anyways now that Indy 4 has wrapped I can’t wait to see the final product in May!!!

Indiana Jones got his stuff back, but how he got it back would make a great webisode! Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesperson Steve Whitmore told USA Today that they arrested the guy who stole the photos, the computers and the other important items from the Indiana Jones 4 set. Here is how they got him!
Whitmore says detectives learned that some of the images were being offered for sale to several entertainment gossip websites. They posed as potential buyers for the images and set up a meeting in West Hollywood on Tuesday. When the man arrived, he was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property and violating his parole.
What a schmuck, did he not realize you don't mess with Spielberg oh his own turf? BTW I wonder how much he was selling the stuff for?

What a week for the secrets of the production Indiana Jones 4. First there was the bit player who leaked plot details from the upcoming movie, and now comes news that stuff has been stolen from the production of the movie. According to Variety computers, photographs and proprietary information were stolen from the production. A spokesperson for Stephen Spielberg confirmed the theft, but not when or where because it is an ongoing case. I wonder if the thieves knew what they were stealing or were these Indiana Jones fans who couldn't wait until next May to find out what was going to happen.
Also in Indiana Jones news according to AAP the actor who leaked the secrets has settled with producers for an undisclosed amount for breaking the confidentiality agreement.
Maybe instead of naming the movie Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, they should name it Indiana Jones the Search for Stolen Secrets.
Hopefully they will get all the stolen stuff back soon!

Don't you hate (or love) when an actor from a small town does an interview with their local newspaper about one of the biggest films coming up and spoils the film. Well that is exactly what happened according to Page Six.
* Indy, played once again by Harrison Ford, and the Soviet army are both searching for a priceless skull made of crystal in the jungles of South America.
* The Russians take Indy hostage and then blackmail him by threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend and mother of his son, Marion Ravenwood, portrayed by Karen Allen. Cast as the son is Shia LaBeouf.
* Cate Blanchett plays an evil Russian who grills Indy. "I saw Harrison Ford strapped to a chair and being interrogated," Nelson told the paper.
Nelson's own big scene comes when he celebrates Indy's capture by dancing to balalaika folk music. But it's doubtful the footage of the 24-year-old actor - a professionally trained ballet dancer who studied at the Bolshoi Academy in Moscow - will make it into the final cut. Spielberg, furious Nelson blabbed, has reportedly snipped his scene.
As we know Stephen Spielberg hates leaks so much that he doesn't even allow critics to see his movies until they come out. So imagin what his reaction was when he heard the different plot twists were leaked. Not only will his scenes likely be removed from the movie, the newspaper removed the article from its website and so did AICN.
Actually the less I know about this movie the better because I am so afraid it is going to stink like George Lucas' and Steven Spielberg's last few movies.
