A pair of brothers seem to have it all - the perfect wives, the perfect homes, money and perfect lives. But nothing is as it seems in the Kissel household, especially when unspeakable tragedy strikes and both brothers are found dead. You won’t believe the directions that this shocking true story takes! And you won’t want to miss a second of it.
I never heard of The Kessel Brothers until this movie, and while watching it I found my looking them up because the story was interesting. It is hard to believe that this movie is based on a true story because you could never think this could really happen, but it is. Two brothers who came from nothing and then made something of themselves did not live to see the age of 50. One killed by his wife, the others is unsolved. This movie is the story how love and money changed them forever and was the death of them. Plus John Stamos is in it!
So tune in The Two Mr Kissels tonight on Lifetime at 9p!

In “Rita Rocks,” Nicole Sullivan stars as Rita Clemens, an overworked wife and mother in the middle of a full-blown identity crisis — which includes trying to maintain romance with her husband Jay (Richard Ruccolo), juggling the demands of her nine-year-old daughter, Shannon (Kelly Gould), and disciplining her defiant teenage daughter Hallie (Natalie Dreyfuss) and her ever-present boyfriend Kip (Raviv Ullman). After being passed over for a promotion at work, Rita is at her wit’s end. In search of “youthful” Rita, she dusts off her old guitar and forms a garage band with her nosy postal carrier Patty (Tisha Campbell-Martin) and unemployed neighbor Owen (guest star Ian Gomez), in the hopes of putting that spark back in her life.
Lifetime who has had huge success with the drama Army Wives, is branching out to sitcoms tonight with Rita Rocks. Rita Rocks fills the hole the networks have left by not doing traditional sitcoms. It is funny and just has that good old family sitcom feel. You know with a married couple trying to make it work as they raise their 3 kids. Their oldest daughter is dating a loser who basically spends all his time at their house and is in Rita’s band! The show deals with all the same sitcom family problems that the other sitcoms have, but you know what that never grows old and they are always funny. The one thing that shocked me is Nicole Sullivan can really sing and the band is really good. I think I might have to go to a show taping just to hear them play!!!
So tune into Rita Rocks at 8:30p every night this week for a show that will make laugh out loud and boogie on down!!!

There was a battle going on in the TV World for who would get the syndication rights to How I Met Your Mother and the winner is Lifetime according to The Hollywood Reporter. Out of all the networks that the show could repeat on, I never would have thought Lifetime.
JoAnn Alfano, Lifetime’s new executive vp entertainment, said “Mother” is a good fit for the network’s lineup. “It’s fresh and contemporary,” she said. “There are not a lot of shows out there that are right for us, so it was really important to go after this.”
Even though the announcement was made in 2008, the repeats will not start airing until 2010. I can’t wait to see the above episode again on the small screen!

“Coco Chanel” is the rags-to-riches tale charting the rise of one of the most influential fashion icons of the 20th century. From her humble childhood in a French orphanage, through her early days as a young dressmaker’s assistant, to her passionate and tragic love with a dashing Englishman, and ultimately to her success as a pioneering icon, “Coco Chanel” is the story of a glamorous woman who was hard to love and harder to ignore. This epic true story stars Shirley MacLaine, Malcolm McDowell and Barbora Bobulova.

Coco Chanel is a real rags to riches story, and she had to work many years to become the woman she was known for. And she had a man who helped her to make her that way, but their love story was not an easy one, but a beautiful one. Barbora Bobulova is amazing as the young Coco Chanel who struggles with love, life and fashion.

In “Little Girl Lost,” Reyes portrays Luz Cuevas, a working-class mother who is told that her infant daughter, Delimar, has perished in a suspicious fire in their Philadelphia row house. Despite the evidence, and based only on her intuition as a mother, Luz remains convinced that her daughter was kidnapped and that she’s still alive. Luz and her husband attempt to put the tragedy behind them for the sake of their other children, however, Luz continues to suspect her distant cousin of foul play and enlists the help of Angel Cruz, a sympathetic State Representative.
Little Girl Lost premieres tonight on Lifetime Movie Network at 8p! Little Lost Girl is based on a real story, and knowing that made this movie even more remarkable. To think a woman really went through all of this, makes you think how much more this story is. This is the stuff that Hollywood dreams of, but it is not made up it is real. This movie will make you cry as Luz tries to convince everyone that her daughter is alive, and when you finally find out her daughter is alive it makes you cry tears of joy. What I like most about this story it is a politician saves the day. Just when you lose hope in politicians, this movie help regain your faith in them.
So tune in to Lifetime Movie Network and watch Little Girl Lost at 8p for movie that will amaze you.

Teen actress Morgan Carter is a Hollywood princess, until the day that her hard-partying ways get the best of her. After she collapses outside a Hollywood nightclub, Morgan’s mother sends her to live incognito in the wilds of Fort Wayne, Indiana, with her Aunt Trudy. With a new look and a seriously depleted budget, Morgan enters a suburban high school with a new identity and a bad attitude. But it’s not long before a cute boy next door turns her head. And suddenly Morgan finds herself caught between the bright lights of Hollywood and a simple life with the boy she loves. Based on the book by Lola Douglas.
I loved True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet that premieres on Lifetime tonight at 8p! I laughed, I cried and I really want more!!!
When I got the screener for this, I thought this movie was going to be stupid and a waste of time but I was shocked by how much I loved this movie. Jojo plays a mixture of Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears, but instead she crashes and burns at 17. Because of her young age her mom and manager send her to her aunt’s (Valerie Bertinelli) in Fort Wayne, Indiana to be a normal teen. Jojo actually played the role perfectly of Morgan Carter, she changes with her character and doesn’t overact anything and doesn’t forget how she should be acting at that time in the movie. She starts off spoiled starlet but you watch her change into a normal teen. Valerie Bertinelli plays her aunt perfectly, some of their scenes together just draw right into the movie. At one point in the movie I started to cry and I couldn’t believe that this movie touched me that much. In fact I cried a few times, but I laughed and smiled even more.
It is great to watch as Morgan Carter grows throughout the movie. In fact it takes a real look into what is going wrong with some of the biggest grown up child stars of today. In fact I think this is a must watch for parents of child stars to see how important it is to make sure they have normal lives too and not one that is just work, assistants and yes people.
Seriously, I love True Confessions of a Hollywood so much, I hope that Lifetime is considering turning this movie into a series.
So tune into True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet on Lifetime at 8p for a movie that will surprise you how good it is!

Roland is suspected of inappropriate behavior with one of his students. Roxy hires a new waitress, Sandi (guest-star Ana Ortiz, “Ugly Betty”), to work at Betty’s Bar and Grill. Pamela is stunned when Chase is arrested along with several other members of Delta Force.
Lifetime’s Army Wives gets better every week. I can’t wait to see what Denise says to Roland when he confronts her. If I were her, I would chose the doctor over husband every time. He is a cutie and her husband is a meanie who is never there, but that is me!

How to Look Good Naked is back on Lifetime tonight at 10p and this show not has a new day and time, but it is also an hour long! I did not realize last season how much they rushed into a half hour, but now that it is hour it is even better! We get more of the feel of what a transformation the women go through and we also go along on even more of a journey with them! I am loving the changes of this sweet inspiring show!
One thing that hasn’t changed is how supportive and amazing Carson Kressley is to all the women he helps! He is just so awesome, you want him for your best friend!
I am so glad Lifetime brought this show back, bigger and better than before! So tonight (and every Tuesday) take off all your clothes and put on How to Look Good Naked on Lifetime at 10

The Stone family’s seemingly idyllic lives are shattered when their daughter, Trixie, is the victim of a date rape. But there are holes in Trixie’s story, and when another violent crime occurs that may be linked to the rapist, the entire Stone family finds themselves under suspicion. Can they all survive the truth and make it out of their personal circle of hell? Based on the New York Times best-selling book by Jodi Picoult and starring Kelly Preston, Britt Robertson and Ron Eldard.
The Tenth Circle premieres on Lifetime tonight at 9p. The movie is full of so many twists and it keeps you guessing until the credits roll. You never know what is going to happen next, but when all the twists and turns are revealed everything will make sense!
The cast does not give any way of plot twists and the chemistry between them all. Britt Robertson is amazing as Trixie, a role so different than her role on CBS”s Swingtown. Ron Eldard and Kelly Preston play her parents and each is strong in their own right as they console their daughter.
The Tenth Circle is a movie that comes comes full circle, so tune into Lifetime at 9p and watch as it does.

The first season of Army Wives went out with bang and tonight we finally find out who lives and who did not survive the bomb. This show is unlike any other because it deals with the lives of Army Wives, something that has not been portrayed before on TV. But the reason why this show is Lifetime’s number one show because it is so good and you don’t have to be an Army wife to relate to it. Tonight’s show picks up a few days after the season finale with flashbacks to what happened after the bomb went off. Not everyone survived the bomb and we lose someone we loved, but you will not find out who it is until the end of the episode. Not only is the show dealing with what happened it deals with what happens when an Army wife is separated from her husband for the first time.
This is show about surviving and how friendship gets you through all the good and bad times, so tune in to Army Wives tonight and every Sunday at 10p and find out why this show is Lifetime’s number one show!

The birth of a child should be the happiest moment in a couple’s life. But when a doctor’s wife has twins, one of whom has Down syndrome, this physician makes the difficult decision to send one of his babies away. An attending nurse discovers his plan and intervenes, putting into motion events that will haunt the doc, his wife and his son for the next 20 years. This all-star movie features Dermot Mulroney (”The Wedding Date”), Gretchen Mol (”3:10 to Yuma”) and two-time Oscar nominee Emily Watson (”Angela’s Ashes”). Based on The New York Times best-selling novel, Memory Keeper’s Daughter by Kim Edwards.
Memory Keeper’s Daughter is amazing movie and is one of those movies that is good as the trailer makes it seems. It starts out in 1964 with a women giving birth to twins, one healthy and one who her and her husband did not know she was having who is born with down syndrome. Her husband who is a doctor realizes that his daughter has down syndrome tells the nurse to take her to institution and they will take care of her there, but tells his wife the baby died. All this sounds shocking. but this movie shows what a different time it was back in the ’60s from the birth to how they handled mentally challenged people back then. We have come a long way since 1964, thankfully.
But back to the movie, the movie then goes on to follow both families, the doctor’s is torn apart and the nurse finds one.
The story is great with an ending that will make that will keep in your memory for a long time! So tune in to Memory Keeper’s Daughter tonight at 9p on Lifetime!

Project Runway is saying “Auf Wiedersehen!” to Bravo and hello to Lifetime according to Variety. The Weinstein Co signed a 5 year deal with Lifetime beginning with the next edition of the show airing on the network this November. Needless to say NBC and Bravo are not all that happy being dumped and have filed suit against The Weinstein Co in the NY Supreme Court, but TWC does not feel they have the case.
Here is what Lifetime and TWC said about their new joint relationship with Project Runway.
“‘Project Runway’ is one of the best television programs on the air today on broadcast or cable,” Wong said. “I am a huge fan. All my friends are huge fans. Having watercooler movies, dramas, and reality shows like ‘Project Runway’ is what Lifetime Television is all about. We welcome The Weinstein Company, Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn to the Lifetime family for many walks down the runway to come.”
In a statement, theWeinsteins thanked NBC and Bravo for helping nurture the show into a hit, but said “having Lifetime’s unique cable reach will ensure that the show will continue to grow and expand in the years to come.”
“Lifetime is one of the strongest cable networks in the industry, with great leadership and a true commitment to original programming,” the Weinsteins said. “We are very excited for the many new opportunities that will now be provided to ‘Runway’ and its fans and look forward to premiering the sixth season in November 2008.”
I for one can’t wait to see what changes Lifetime makes to the show because you know there will be some! And Lifetime has been doing some great work in the reality department with How To Look Good Naked, Your Mama Don’t Dance, Lisa William’s Life Among the Dead and America’s Psychic Challenge!
